During the pandemic I developed a deep passion for urban planning. Through my deep dive in to the urban planning space, I found a consistent problem. Cities have been developing car centric infrastructure models that are no longer economically or socially viable.

My client, Boor Actuarial, has developed software that could revolutionize actuarial work by allowing the creation of accurate rates without as much data. I was hired to help bring their proprietary software to market by creating a website, mocking up UX/UI components, and helping them better understand how to position their service.

The toilet paper industry chops down 7 million trees a year in North America. Reel, a Certified B Corp, is disrupting this $92.6 billion dollar industry through bamboo toilet paper that is better for the environment. In this project, we researched their place in the industry and developed a plan for their future sustainability strategy.

Get to Know Me:

Hi, I'm Jonathan.

I'm a thoughtful and deliberate UX and Service Designer.

I believe in the power of designing a better tomorrow. I holistically view design from ideation to end stakeholder experience with the intention of creating a better world. Together we can build  .

I'm a Photographer.

All of the photos on this site have been taken by me. I have 10 years of photography experience, ranging from work that's been in galleries to shooting weddings and events. To me, photography is an excuse to go out and connect with the world (and being able to share that feeling with others is a great bonus). Here are a few of my favorite photos that I have taken.

I'm an Adventurer.

I like to get outside of my comfort zone, and strive to always grow. This year I have started training for my first triathlon in part because It allows me to start my day immersed in nature, exploring the trails and neighborhoods around me.
